Greater Utica Sports Hall of Famer Michele Davis reached 300 career victories as the head coach of the Utica University women's basketball team when her Pioneers beat Wellesley College 69-58 on November 23, 2024.  Davis, the program's all-time wins leader, reached that milestone several weeks after she was formally inducted into the GUSHOF. The Utica native was a basketball star at Notre Dame High School, Herkimer County Community College, and the University at Albany. She recorded career win No. 300 in her 24th season as the head coach of the Pioneers.
