Entering in the team category, Proctor’s 2007 baseball team won the NYSPHSAA Class AA championship, defeating North Rockland 3-2 for the state crown. The Raiders won a school record 23 games under GUSHOF member coach Dave Guido. Jason Simone was selected as Class AA’s Player of the Year and All-Mohawk Valley POY. A.J. Bates, Mike Mason, Joe Berry and Sean Redmond also were major contributors.
